My car was telling me to “Check Coolant Level” again/still this morning.  As much as I didn’t want to take the time to stop at the Dealership, even worse was the thought of getting stranded half way to Rochester.  The ServiceMan’s visual inspection was the same as the AmocoGuy and Steve’s; “it’s fine”.  Before he attributed it to a sensor malfunction, he decided to pour in about a cup of coolant.  Problem solved!  While they were under the hood they noticed my car has developed a known hood latch quirk.  They fixed that too.  Fifteen minutes well spent.  There was no charge for the service.  I am well pleased to receive this level of service on a car that’s 5 years old and has 85,000 miles on it.  Since the car was so filthy as to be almost unsafe to drive, I ran it through the car wash.  I hope I don’t live to regret that.
