by Matilda on 03.14.07 at 08:03 AM See more in Life •Breakfast this morning was on the porch! * My hair is cut and colored. MrB’s errand is run. The dogs have made their annual visit to the Vet followed by a stop at City Hall to make them legal again. * I sure wish I knew which cured my nasty headache; the chocolate chip bagel with cream cheese, cup of coffee, can of diet coke or handful of M&Ms Dark. * MrB - 1, Squirrel - 0. * I enjoyed catching up with The Raconteur who treated me to dinner at the Sample Room in NE Minneapolis and gifted me with a bottle of red wine from the Chateau Vieux Robin! He advised I not actually drink it, which of course makes me wonder why ever not? How bad can it be? With a name like that?

by Matilda on 03.12.07 at 05:08 PM See more in Life •Despite several distractions, I got an amazing amount of work done at the office today. * The bird feeder is laying on the ground. Damn squirrel! At least it’s not broken.

by Matilda on 03.11.07 at 01:55 PM See more in Life •Almost no one in church today. Daylight savings time and they all over slept? Weird! I fired up the patio heater and worked on my tan for an hour. The squirrel found the bird feeder.

by Matilda on 03.10.07 at 11:05 AM See more in Life •This morning I’ve got Woodpeckers in the bird feeder. And pecking on the tree it’s hanging in. Is that something I should worry about? We saw “The Glass Menagerie” by Tennessee Williams at the Guthrie Theater.

by Matilda on 03.08.07 at 06:08 PM See more in Life •The bills are paid, with money left over. I’ve filed all that “stuff” that’s been cluttering my home office desktop, uncovering whole square feet of wood surface! The photo journal prints have been placed in the albums. I have a pair of Cardinals visiting the bird feeder on a regular basis.

by Matilda on 03.07.07 at 08:04 AM See more in Life •All of yesterday and so far today when in my car I listen to Rufus Wainwright’s “Hallelujah” from the “Shrek” soundtrack. Over and over and over and over and over again. What’s with that? Antidote to “The God Delusion”?

by Matilda on 03.06.07 at 11:59 PM See more in Life •I picked up the first batch of “new” dining room chairs and I’m thrilled! The old dining room chairs were one of the few things left that irked me every time I passed the dining room. I guess not so bad that I was willing to go shopping for new ones. But, I always did like the chairs I had in Walker and the first Florida condo so I called Ethan Allen. Turns out that line didn’t sell well and was discontinued many years ago. Between eBay, Craig’s List and an Ethan Allen Owners’ website I was able to acquire 14 chairs from across the country. I’m having the seats recovered in two batches, always leaving me a few to sit on. * Today I stumbled upon the concept for a house!
